People frequently inquire about a specific moment in my life that I would alter or revisit for various reasons. The very short answer is none.

If someone were to possess a machine with the ability to travel back in time and alter any event, I personally would refrain from doing so, as every event has a specific purpose. To alter experienced life in any way would change how things have turned out, and I would not want that to take place.

I did my life as the song says, “My Way,” so the only regrets I’ve ever had are exclusively connected to having delayed going to see cherished friends who then unfortunately died.

One wonders retrospectively: What if I had gone? Would the outcome have changed?

Exploring those questions in certain cases leads down some strange rabbit holes.
