Tannhäuser - Part Thirty - Final Chapter
A Rock 'n' Roll Fairy Tale by Prince Stash with Audio Recording
Alone, in a gigantic gallery, adorned with magnificent effigies of her multiple avatars throughout human history, Venus stood contemplating Tannhäuser’s corpse lying upon the intricate mosaic spirals of its pavement.
She allowed a profound maelstrom of sadness to well in her breast slowly, deliberately savoring a curious, hitherto unknown bitter despair to slowly suffocate her until one single tear welled in her eye. She sighed, wallowing in melancholy, while the diamond tear slowly fell on Tannhãuser’s forehead.
He awakened with a start and jumped to his feet perfectly whole.
Venus embraced him and whispered, “Did you think you could ever escape me?’ Seeing his bafflement, she added:
“I am teasing you! I know perfectly well that you cannot remember trespassing upon the Sacred Mysteries, which no uninitiated mortal could ever do unscathed. Your consequent loss of reason and pathetic jealous rage were about to become most tiresome and would inevitably have turned you into a detestable bore.
